Over
the Years


1977
Founded
Erie Meats operations launched at our Roselawn facility.

1982
Expansion
Opened our Wharton Way facility and started offering beef and chicken secondary processing.

1983
Deli Begins
The acquisition of our very first deli plant, marking a significant milestone in our journey to deliver high-quality products.

2007
Turkey Plant
Purchased and opened turkey plant, dry goods warehouse and Lenworth Distribution Centre.

2009
Campbell Soup Facility
Acquisition of the former Campbell Soup facility, 350,000 sq. Ft, in Listowel, doubling our capacity. Immediate investment in facility and community to rejuvenate and retool.

2010
Hot Dog Expansion
First hotdog produced in the largest production line in Canada, destined for global export.

2011
Calgary Distribution
Complete internal rebuild for grind operations. Purchased Calgary Distribution.

2012
Battered & Breaded
New processing line for battered and breaded products installed.

2013
Deli Relocation
Relocation of the deli operations from a 5,000 sq. Ft building to over 75,000 sq. Ft within the Listowel operations.

2014
Purchase
Purchase of European Quality Meats.

2016
Sous Vide
Completion of Sous Vide production capabilities.

2019
Cooked Lines Started
This marks the debut of our first fully cooked product, featuring a deliciously battered and breaded line that ensures quality and taste in every bite.

2021
Cooked Lines Expanded
2nd fully cooked production line installed.

2023
Sous Vide Expanded
10,000 Sq. ft HPP plant completed. Expansion to Sous vide production.

2024
Grilling added
3rd fully cooked production line installed. Grilling capabilities added.
